For over 50 years, Il Piccolo has specialised in designing, building and furnishing interiors. It does this by drawing on a unique heritage of creative, design and organisational skills, artistic and craftsmanship expertise and innovative technologies.
We have taken our idea of interior design to major cities around the world, selecting materials, technologies and talents. We represent a unique heritage of skills and craftsmanship, typical of Made in Italy. The end result is the creation of high quality, long-lasting environments and furnishings made to the highest standards.
Joinery
Made-to-measure parquet, boiserie, inlays with the finest woods: palm, old larch, mahogany feather, macassar ebony, madrona root and ambuina.
Upholstery
From linens to carpets, from sofas to curtains in all materials, from fabrics to leather. We cultivate and jealously preserve skills that are now extremely rare: from “stretched” wallpaper to the manufacture of curtains, one of the few that cannot yet be industrialised.
Metals
Castings, iron, brass, gold leaf, steel in all its forms.
Glass
Glass (sandblasted, tempered, armoured), staircases, shop windows, load-bearing floors, curved and large walls, skylights.
Outdoor environments
Iron or wooden tensile structures and verandas, curtain walls.
Decoration
Plasterwork, stucco, mosaics, trompe l’oeil.
